DreBu is a non-profit organization founded by Kalsang Dolma and Gelek Badheytsang in 2009.

We believe in creating a vibrant Tibetan arts, culture and social development within a dynamic urban setting and the growing Tibetan Diaspora worldwide.

Recognizing that culture, arts and society evolve constantly in many different directions and forms, we strive to connect with a wide range of artists, cultural experts and community stakeholders who shape the cultural & social environment locally and globally. We fulfill our mission by undertaking innovative programs to study and encourage the undergoing dynamism in the Tibetan arts, culture and society within the diaspora communities for a healthy exchange based on mutual respect, inclusiveness and true diversity in Canada and the world.

Our vision is a vibrant and dynamic arts, culture and social movement in Tibetan Diaspora; a movement that promotes creativity, innovation, collaboration, openness and  sustainability.

Board Members:

After working tirelessly for over 6 years on DreBu’s mission and goals, the founders decided to take the organization to the next level for wider reaching impact in Canada and worldwide. So, DreBu is now a registered Canadian non-profit organization as of Jan 1st 2016!

Very nice to discover your site. I’m just starting with HeART of TIBET. my Event Gallery in Vienna. It is my buisness and not a non profit organisation. The goal is to feature artists, poets, and activists
from Tibet and other endangered countries. Giving them a platform and find them a interested and supporting public. May be we can cooperate someday. Regards to Lhapri Tendar la and Tseten la from TIPA : )
Wish you all, great success and satisfaction in alll your efforts.
